About Us
Redirect was founded by Diane Delava and Anneleen De Bonte. A commercial engineer and a family doctor by training, they each started asking questions about where their savings and pension money were invested. The answers were thin on transparency, and many of the investments were ones they could not support. They went on to research the subject, campaign for change and work in the field. That built up the insight and network behind Pensions for Change, the non-profit they founded and have since renamed Redirect.
We share a deep conviction
Some worlds are needlessly far apart: large capital and local initiatives; institutions and the people on the ground. Redirect brings them together. We use our hands-on experience and a broad network to put all brains in the game, and to find solutions that combine the best of different worlds.
Redirect is a non-profit. We work in a fully horizontal way, with deep respect for the autonomy of our partners and a commitment to transparency in everything we do. Our trademark: we never do it alone. We bring in a broad network of practitioners and experts to design solutions that combine the best of different worlds.
We are not tied to any single institution, investor or funder. That independence is our greatest asset: it allows us to move freely, earn broad trust and take bold positions.
