A fund for housing that serves people, not markets.

Reliving is the impact fund we are building, designed to channel institutional investment into non-speculative, affordable housing in Belgium. The fund finances housing initiatives that serve vulnerable groups: people with low incomes, elderly residents, single-parent families and people with disabilities.

What is Reliving?

Reliving is an impact fund exclusively dedicated to financing affordable, non-speculative housing in Belgium. It is designed to attract institutional investors, pension funds, insurance companies, investment funds, etc. who want their capital to generate both financial returns and genuine social impact.

Every euro invested in Reliving goes toward housing that remains affordable over the long term, thanks to legal structures that permanently remove it from speculative market dynamics, such as Community Land Trusts, housing cooperatives and housing foundations.

Non-speculative by design

All investments target housing structures that prevent speculation. Once a home enters these structures, it stays affordable, permanently.

Social impact built in

Reliving prioritises housing for the most vulnerable: low-income households, elderly people, single-parent families, and people with disabilities. Impact is measured from day one and evolves as we learn.

What makes it different?

A new role for institutional capital

Our life savings partly exist to ensure dignity after retirement. Reliving invites them to also protect dignity before retirement, by making housing accessible to the very people whose savings they manage.

The Reliving Project — pilot phase

Before launching the full fund, we are running a carefully designed pilot phase (until mid-2027). We are preparing our first 4–5 investments in Belgian housing initiatives, testing our impact measurement approach, and building the evidence base for a full fund launch with an initial target of €50 million.

How to get involved

As an institutional investor

We are actively building relationships with forward-thinking pension funds, insurance companies and investment funds ready to explore impact investing in housing. Get in touch to learn more about the pilot or the upcoming fund.

As a housing initiative

If you are developing non-speculative, affordable housing in Belgium and are looking for financing, we want to hear from you. We provide subordinated loans during the higher-risk development phase of projects.

As a philanthropic partner

During the pilot phase, Redirect relies on grants and philanthropic support to remain fully independent. If you share our vision, consider supporting us.
