Long-term capital, local value.

Redirect is an independent non-profit reshaping how capital serves society. We connect institutional capital with the entrepreneurs who create value on the ground, using practical solutions, shared knowledge and a broad network. The aim: large-scale capital, local value.

Our mission

Where capital flows shapes the society we live in and we believe that changing those flows can trigger real, lasting systemic change. Redirect's mission is to close the gap between large investors and tangible local value. We work with both impact investors and institutional investors - with pension funds and insurance companies in particular, because they manage the savings of millions of citizens. We help money reach the places where those citizens live.

What we do

Pillar 1

We build funds that work for both worlds

We design fund structures that fit the rules, risk models and scale of large investors, and that carry what impact funds have learned about where money really changes things. Along the way we stay close to the entrepreneurs and practitioners on the ground. They are the ones who actually create the value.

Pillar 2

We contribute to a growing movement

We share what we learn with initiatives, investors, policymakers and advocates, and add our part to a movement that is already under way.

Pillar 3

We show where money goes

In everything we do, we encourage investors and savers to ask where their money goes and what it achieves. We believe transparency about the impact of investments should be the norm.

In the spotlight:
Reliving, our first concrete step.

A colorful Venn diagram with three overlapping circles in pink, teal, and dark blue, with additional visual elements below the circles.

Reliving is a private debt fund for affordable housing in Belgium. It offers institutional investors a modest but stable return, alongside a clear social one close to home.

We are currently in our pilot phase, in collaboration with ImpaktEU. Together with housing initiatives on the ground, we are testing our financing product through 4 to 5 first investments, in every phase of the investment process.

Our values

Redirecting finance for change: Finance as a tool, collaboration over competition and honesty about complexity.

Sunlight filtering through dense green forest trees onto a winding mountain road.

Finance as a tool, not a goal.

Money should serve people. We work to restore that relationship in the institutions we engage and in the broader public conversation about savings and investment.

Collaboration over competition.

We actively build bridges across the ecosystem, between housing initiatives, investors, policymakers and advocates. A stronger field benefits everyone.

Honesty about complexity.

Systemic change is slow, uncertain, and full of trade-offs. We don't pretend otherwise. We learn as we go, and we share what we find.
